About this Speaker

Jason is the son of refugees who fled the American/Vietnam War. He was born in London and grew up in a single-parent family, and as a teenager, he struggled with poverty and the stigma of poverty. But he defines his achievements by his failures.

He enjoys singing, waking up early, VR Table Tennis, cooking, working with his colleagues and playing with his Dog, Ziah.

Jason did very well in primary school, did well in secondary, ok in College and did terribly in University. Today Jason is the Senior Lead for Specialised Medical Services for London, heading up programmes in complex surgeries and rare diseases, and managing Hospitals on behalf of the NHS.
