Rosie was 9 when she was told by a teacher that she'd never amount to anything in life and would not succeed because of a learning difficulty. She now has three degrees and she is a qualified Career Adviser (PgDip QCD).
Rosie has battled with anxiety and depression as a result of a work-related stress incident 5 years ago. Now she works as a trainer for the University of Huddersfield's Careers Service, delivering a programme on wellbeing strategies, employability skills, and enterprise.
She has particular expertise in topics such as application support, how to find opportunities and make informed career choices. Rosie finds it incredibly satisfying to empower young people to make their own career decisions, helping them to develop the skills, experience and attributes for their chosen career paths.
More than anything, she wants her story to be heard, so that no-one else goes through what she went through.
